President and CEO - Randy Miller
Randy is the President and CEO of SERVPRO of Midland / Gladwin Counties and an award-winning franchisee, recently winning the 2019 Franchise of the Year and winning the 2004 Pinnacle Award. His franchises have been leaders within SERVPRO for the past 15 years, earning recognition as an Extreme Team Member of the Disaster Recovery Team. Randy has been in the restoration and construction industry for over 20 years with obtained certifications from the IICRC in Water Damage Restoration Technician and Applied Structural Drying. He maintains a Hazmat certification and a Michigan builder’s license.

Tina Miller - Chief Operating Officer
Tina Miller is the Chief Operating Officer of SERVPRO Team Miller. Before joining SERVPRO, Tina was the Operations Manager for McMartin, Wasek and Associates, an Independent Claims Adjusting Firm. She is a leader focused on developing others, maintaining a strong culture and a dedicated team player. Tina is a very important part of the day-to-day operations of all of our franchises. Her and Randy have 4 children, 5 grandchildren and a furbaby named Buddy, who comes to work with them every day. Some of her hobbies include boating, exercising and spending time with family.

Director of Growth and Operations - Derek Niederquell
Derek Niederquell, Western Michigan alumni, serves as our Director of Growth and Operations. With over 20 years in the restoration and cleaning industry, Derek has held numerous leadership positions including Operations Manager, Brand Leader, Director, and Regional Manager. Derek holds multiple certifications through the IICRC and has led and assisted with many natural disasters including Hurricanes: Irma, Harvey, Matthew, Michael, and Florence; he also helped manage fires and winter storms throughout North America. As Director of Growth and Operations, Derek is closely engaged with all departments of Team Miller and helps build on an already amazing culture.

Sales and Marketing Manager - Kendra Patocki
Kendra worked in the industrial equipment industry for 13 years before joining the SERVPRO Disaster Recovery Team. In her role as Sales and Marketing Manager, she is responsible for developing business in our Saginaw and Detroit franchise areas. Her project experience includes disaster recovery services in commercial and residential facilities. She also holds ICRA and GLSTC Safety certification. Kendra has responded with our team to natural disasters such as Hurricane Florence, Hurricane Michael, Hurricane Laura, and local flash-flooding events. When Kendra is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Commercial and Residential Sales - Shawn Weiss
Shawn is a proud graduate of Northwood University and is passionate about community involvement. He has been an ambassador for the Midland Business Alliance for seven years and is a member of the Midland Rotary, as well as being the president of the Midland Noon Exchange Club, a local non-profit. He has experience in commercial real estate and property management within several malls throughout the mid-west. Shawn is responsible for developing business throughout the Midland, Michigan area, as well as helping provide assistance to those during major storm and disaster periods.
DRT Operations Manager - Eric Gauthier
Eric has been a Business Manager, a mentor, and a team leader in the Metro-Detroit area for nearly 30 years. He’s worked as a General Manager in the restaurant industry managing 150 + employees in multiple locations he most recently managed a staff of 175+ employees as an Area Supervisor for a fortune 500 Company before joining SERVPRO. Eric joined the SERVPRO team in 2019 as a Disaster Recovery Operations Manager. He jumped in and immediately earned his IICRC Water Restoration Certification, IICRC Fire Restoration Certification, and GLSTC Safety Certification. Since then, Eric has Coordinated and Managed large-scale cleaning projects for COVID-19, as well as fire & flood projects throughout the Midwest, including a 500-year flooding event. Eric’s diverse skill set makes him a perfect fit for the emergency services industry.

DRT Project Manager - Sheldon Miller
Sheldon is a graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Construction Management. Before coming aboard full time in January 2015, Sheldon worked in the industry for seven years. As a member of the Extreme Response Team, Sheldon works as the commercial large loss project manager. He is certified for lead remediation, clandestine decontamination and has IICRC certification in Water Damage restoration, applied structural drying and applied microbial remediation. Sheldon is also a licensed asbestos contractor/supervisor in the state of Michigan.

DRT Project Manager - Mike Muccino
Mike has been with the SERVPRO for four years. He joined with company with more than two decades of experience in the construction industry. Working through 2007 in residential construction, he has spent the last 10 years in commercial mitigation and insurance repairs. Mike has earned his WRT and ASD certifications along with a MICRO certification in mold. His experience has also included serving as an Operations Manager before transitioning into a Project Manager role for the Disaster Recovery Team, working across state lines on large loss construction projects. He also continues to work directly with insurance carriers through estimating and consulting services on large commercial losses.

Cathy Schmidt - Operations Manager in Mitigation
Cathy has been with SERVPRO for over 20 years and is honored to be part of a team that focus on the SERVPRO mission. She holds IICRC certification in Journeyman Water, Journeyman Fire Restorer, Journeyman Textile Cleaner, Odor Control (OCT), Carpet Cleaning (CCT), Lead Restorer, and Amdecon biohazard certification. Throughout her career, she has assisted multiple homeowners and commercial businesses, each one with a unique circumstance. Being able to assist in getting customer’s lives and situations back to normal while being sympathetic to their needs is something she takes seriously and with the utmost urgency. Outside of SERVPRO, Cathy and her husband of 30 years operate Schmidt Family Farms. She loves to spend time with her three children and five grandchildren.

Kristeen Martin - Project Manager in Contents and Cleaning
Kristeen is the Project Manager on Contents and Cleaning. She has four years of experience before starting at SERVPRO five years ago. Kristeen is certified Content’s Decontamination, BIO Cleanup level 1,2 and 3, Ozone Specialist, Fireline, Fire and Smoke Restoration, Fire and Smoke Odor Control, Confined Space. In her free time, Kristeen likes to make custom cakes and cookies and spend time with her granddaughter.

Bob Jewell - Project Manager in Water Mitigation
Bob Jewell has been working for SERVPRO almost since the beginning. He celebrated his 24th anniversary with SERVPRO in August 2021. Bob currently works as a Project Manager in Water Mitigation.

Jake Michaels - Project Manager in Water Mitigation
Jake started his SERVPRO career in January of 2016 as a mitigation technician and expanded his knowledge and expertise before becoming a water Project Manager in 2019. Before starting at SERVPRO, he worked for two different companies in the restoration industry. Jake is IICRC certified for Water, Applied Structural Drying, and Carpet Cleaning. He has an asbestos inspector certification with the state of Michigan, as well as a Lead Renovator Certification, and his Great Lakes Training certification which allows me to access Dow Chemical. In his free time, Jake likes to golf, camp, play cornhole, hike, and explore Michigan with his family.
Kevin Heppner - Project Manager in Abatement and Specialty Mitigation
Kevin is one of our mold experts, currently working for SERVPRO as a Project Manager in Abatement and Specialty Mitigation. Kevin will be celebrating his 5-year anniversary at SERVPRO in May 2022.

Scott Dishaw - Operations Manager in Reconstruction
Scott originally started at SERVPRO in 2011 and worked his way up to Operations Manager in Reconstruction. Before his time at SERVPRO, Scott started in his family’s contracting business in Atlanta, GA in 2000. Six months later, he was hired as a Project Manager to a smaller restoration company as a Project Manager, specializing in fire damage repairs to multi-unit large loss apartment fires throughout the Southeast and hurricane repairs to high-rise condominium buildings down the Eastern coast and Gulf of Mexico. Scott’s experience in the restoration industry includes $75 million in completed condominium repairs, $55 million in completed multi-unit apartment repairs, $30 million in completed residential and commercial repairs in Michigan, and 21 years in the insurance industry. He is IIRC certified in Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Applied Structural Drying (ASD), and Lead Renovator Certified. In Scott’s free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, and snowmobiling.

Tim Kenel - Project Manager in Reconstruction
Tim joined SERVPRO in June 2007. Before starting his career at SERVPRO, Tim was a self-employed contractor and has seven years of experience in forensic engineering cause and origin. One of the most notable projects Tim has worked on is the nine-million-dollar restoration of City Hall in Bay City after a fire in the building’s attic. When he’s not at work, Tim enjoys bow hunting and woodworking.

Dave Sova - Project Manager in Reconstruction
Dave has been with SERVPRO for more than two years. Before starting at SERVPRO, Dave owned his own restoration company and has 22 years of experience in the restoration industry. He is qualified in Lead Safety and is actively involved in his community, serving as the President of the Montrose Area Chamber of Commerce, Vice President of the Montrose Downtown Development Authority, and is involved in ministry at Vertical Life Church.
Zach Bamberg - Project Manager in Reconstruction
Zach has been working with SERVPRO for almost two years, starting off as an Assistant Project Manager in the Saginaw office. He has recently been promoted to a Project Manager in Reconstruction.
Chad Hages - Project Manager in Reconstruction
Chad has been with SERVPRO for the past three years. Before working as a project manager in reconstruction for SERVPRO, Chad worked in residential construction after high school and spent the following six years in commercial construction in local industrial parks. In his free time, he coaches youth hockey and holds a board position on the Bay County Hockey Association. He also enjoys spending time in the outdoors hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time with his family.
